Alex MacLean Reflection
Alex MacLean's work was very interesting. I really enjoyed all his types of ideas of what to take pictures of. He collects photos he takes of baseball diamonds and fields. I never thought of doing that. My favorite picture he took I couldn't find online or his website. It was very simple. He says it was luck and was there at the right time when flying. It was a tree, I think elm, with a perfect shadow right behind the tree on a dirt road. I definitely want to do something like that. Another photo I couldn't find was his nightlife of New York. It had a lot of different lights that worked well together. I also would like to take photography like that. The photos above are a couple more photos that Alex took that stood out to me. It probably stood out because they are every day simple things that you don't expect to see a beautiful picture from. We look past these kind of things. The photo to the right are tracks from a tractor in a field. Seeing the photo from the sky is a whole another viewpoint that most people don't see everyday. The other two pictures are sets of boats. The middle picture stood out because they look like flowers and they are very repetitious, which interests me. The first photo probably stands out because each boat is colorful and they are all mashed up next to each other. Overall, I did enjoy Alex's photos that he presented to us.
