Cyanotypes
We first chose a picture we have taken before with contrasts in color and has negative spaces. I chose building with different angles and shapes from New York. After resizing the image, I went into Photoshop to make the entire photo inverted. Then I printed out on see-through special paper. We used transparent glass (plexi glass) to cover the color and then we clipped it all together. We went outside for sunset. After that, we put the photo that was now blue into water (we also put in lemon and vinegar). Then we dried it. My original is the top picture of this page.
